What this course is

Where Linux stops
being someone-else's-problem.

Linux runs the world's servers, the entire cloud, every container and most of the developer-laptop fleet. Linux fluency is the foundation skill for cloud, DevOps, security, networking and modern engineering tracks. Without it, every cert above (AWS / Azure / Docker / K8s) leaves a permanent gap.

At Nexperts, Linux Administration is delivered as a 5-day intensive across 40 hours of live, hands-on lab time. We give you live RHEL 9 and Ubuntu 24.04 sandboxes. By day 5 you've stood up two full Linux servers, hardened them to a CIS baseline, scripted automation across them and recovered from simulated incidents.

A weak Linux foundation is the #1 reason engineers stall in cloud careers. AWS / Azure / GCP all run on Linux. Docker / K8s are Linux-native. Security tooling is Linux-native. Get this right, and everything above gets easier.

We cover RHEL 9 and Ubuntu 24.04 — the two dominant enterprise distros in MY. Every lab works on both. By day 5 you can drop into a Klang Valley fintech, telco or GLC server room and operate.

Who should take this course
👨‍💻

Sysadmins

From Windows or junior background. Linux is the next career-defining step.

☁️

Cloud engineers

Cloud certs assume Linux fluency. This course fills that assumption.

🔐

Security engineers

Hardening, audit, SELinux, log analysis — all Linux-native.

📚

DevOps engineers

Docker / K8s / Ansible all assume Linux. Without it, you're guessing.

👨‍💻

Backend developers

Building apps for Linux servers. Knowing the OS makes you 2x effective.

📝

Career switchers

Pivoting from Windows-only roles into cloud / DevOps / security.

Prerequisites
Basic computer literacy
Familiarity with command line (Windows cmd or PowerShell counts)
No prior Linux experience required
We start at cd / ls and end at hardening
No Linux background? You're our target audience. The course assumes nothing.
